This week STICK TO WRESTLING is joined again by popular guest Jake “The Valentine” Hamar as we discuss the top ten tag teams of 1987! Discussed on this week’s episode:

–The Midnight Rockers, Shawn and Marty, they loved to wrestle and they loved to party. They were also perfect for the NWA but the call never came.

–Stan Lane replaces Dennis Condrey in the Midnight Express, creating one of wrestling’s all time greatest debates: Which version of the Midnight Express was better?

–Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard were only teaming regularly for only about half of the year. Does that hurt them?

–The Fantastics were an excellent tag team, but were stuck in the dying Dallas circuit.

–The WWF created Demolition, and some fans thought they’d hired away the Road Warriors. This happened again 18 months later when the WWF hired the Powers of Pain.

–Jerry Lawler and Bill Dundee had the great dynamic of being a regular tag team in 1987, just one year after their 1986 blood feud.
