–David then opens up about the history of wrestling in Fresno, going back to the Mike Lebell and Roy Shire, and how the WWF eventually ended up having shows there.

Episode 147: DTA – Don’t Turn Austin

This week STICK TO WRESTLING continues it’s talk on Wrestlemania X7, universally considered one of the greatest pro wrestling events era and the pinnacle of The Attitude Era. On tap this week:

–The WWF was crazy, and I mean CRAZY, to turn Steve Austin and align him with Vince McMahon.

–The immediate creative collapse the WWF suffered after this show.

–Triple H was great, but that was not how a heel should be portrayed.

–The company had been giving a lot of spotlight to the McMahons before and during this show, but we hadn’t see anything yet.

–The legends battle royal.

–Chyna found herself in a really tough spot, and still managed to come across as an unsympathetic character.
